Poland
, Zacharow graduated from the
Academy
of
Fine Arts
in Kraków before moving to
New York
in 1981. His work has been featured
in various magazines including Time,
Newsweek, Business Week, and The
Atlantic Monthly. Among his many awards is the Silver Medal of the Society
of Illustrators in
New York
(1986).
