About the cover art  

The cover of number LIII.02 features a photographic reproduction of a mixed-media artwork (cotton cloth, fullered wool) entitled "Houně mého pejska" ("My Dog's Blanket") by Stefan Tejk.  Tejk is an American artist of Czechslovak-Polish parentage, born in 1962.
